The Raindrop Therapy and You

http://www.essentialimmunehealth.comThe Raindrop Therapy (RT) is a powerful, non-invasive way to resolve many types of back troubles that have previously been considered totally hopeless. I am a walking example. My friend, Nancy Chaney, who is an Energy Fields Therapist, uses this technique on my back regularly and my severe case of scoliosis is slowly being corrected. Yes, you read it as I meant it: my severe case of scoliosis is slowly being corrected.
Nancy began giving me this type of massage (RT) in February 2003 and yesterday when we measured my spinal adjustment, it had moved 3 inches straighter at the main curve, with the neck still needing help and the lowest part of the spine still needing help. The hump on the right side of my upper back is greatly reduced because those muscles are slowly being retrained and relaxed by the application of the essential oils in the Raindrop kit. Yesterday Nancy told me that those muscles will eventually move upward, my whole back will have shifted, and the contents of my chest cavity will also have adjusted themselves.
Lately, I've been having trouble taking a breath. It reminded me of the trouble I used to have and believe me, it's no fun to have trouble breathing! When my back was in its worst shape, before February 2003, the hump and the tight muscles felt normal to me. Now that the muscles are relaxing and my body parts are shifting around, my back feels strange, and I'm having trouble breathing again... But, believe me, I'm going to persevere.
It'll be worth the trouble. And that's what I want to speak to you about. Do you have any kind of back trouble? I highly recommend the Raindrop Therapy of applying the essential oils. It's called "raindrop" because the oils are dispensed like little drops of rain six inches above the spine, then gently feathered into the skin with the backs of the fingertips. Anyone can give you the therapy; it doesn't require a trained therapist. The Raindrop Technique kit comes with easy-to-follow instructions and a video. It contains Aroma Siez (a blend), Basil, Cypress, Marjoram, Oregano, Peppermint, Thyme, Valor (a blend), Wintergreen, and 4-oz. bottles of Ortho Ease Massage Oil and V-6 Advanced Vegetable Oil Complex.
The Raindrop Therapy is based on the theory that many types of scoliosis and spinal misalignments are caused by viruses or bacteria that lie dormant along the spine. These pathogens create inflammation, which, in turn, contorts and disfigures the spinal column. A growing amount of research shows that microorganisms may lodge near the spinal cord and contribute to deformities (J Pathol. 1979 Sep;129(1):9-12 and Br Med J. 1976 Oct 16;2(6041):912-3). More recent research in 2001 goes further in corroborating the existence of infectious microorganisms as a cause of spinal pain and inflammation (Lancet 2001:V357). In addition, vaccines made from live viruses may also contribute to spinal problems. Live, attenuated oral poliomyelitis vaccines have been linked to scoliosis (J Bone Joint Surg Br: 1982;64(4):503-7).
Essential oils are some of the most powerful inhibitors of microbes known to us and there have been and there still are ongoing studies proving therapeutic essential oils to be important new weapons for combating tissue infections. I will site just a few of these studies right here and for your information, this comes from our Essential Oils Desk Reference, which is published by Essential Science Publishing. (Journal of Food Protection, Vol. 62, No. 9, 1999 pp. 1017-1023; Journal of Applied Microbiology, 1998, 84, 152-158; Journal of Essential Oil Research, September/October 2001, 13, 387-392; International Journal of Food Microbiology, Vol. 16 (1992) 337-342.) These studies show that thyme oil exhibits strong action against stubborn gram-negative bacteria; that basil essential oil has a strong bactericidal action against specific microorganisms; that the compounds found in peppermint oil, rosemary and geranium oils, marjoram oil and lemongrass oil inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus, Micrococcus, Bacillus and Enterobacter strains of bacteria. A 2001 study by Sue Chao and colleagues at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, found that oregano, thyme, peppermint, and basil oils exhibited very strong antimicrobial effects against pathogens such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, a major cause of illness in young children and death in elderly and immune-weakened patients (Journal of Essential Oil Research (September/October 2001, 13, 387-392).
Even the ability of essential oils to penetrate the skin and pass into tissues to produce therapeutic effects has been studied (Biol Pharm Bull. 1993 Mar;16(3):312-4; Control Release 1998 Nov 13;55(2-3)253-60).
You may be interested to know that many essential oils used in RT, besides being antimicrobial, have also been documented as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) for internal use by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration. These include basil, marjoram, peppermint, oregano, thyme, rosemary. So, you see, Raindrop Therapy is one of the safest, non-invasive techniques available.
It is also an invaluable tool to promote healing within, using topically applied essential oils.
So, because of my own experience, I'm able to recommend this treatment to you. If you choose to use RT, I'm sure you'll be surprised with the results, especially if you've been a "hopeless" case. Remember, you don't need a therapist to administer the Raindrop Therapy; you simply need someone who can read the instructions and follow them.
