I am very excited to
share with you my personal hair re-growth experience, because after
many years of losing my hair, I finally found a treatment that works. I started
having hair loss problem in my mid-twenties while I was still in college.
It started out on the top of my head first and then gradually
progressed toward the frontal area. I have spent a lot of money on
hair loss treatments over the years. Let me recall the treatments I
have tried or considered so far:
- First, I tried Rogaine, no significant result
and I don't like the feel it makes after spraying it on my head.
So, I stop trying.
- I visited a Chinese traditional medicine doctor
in Oakland, California whom published a hair-loss ad on a Chinese
newspaper. The result was minimal. It was at best stopping the
hair loss, not very effective in hair re-growth. It cost almost
$100 for every 2 two weeks.
- I tried a program I heard from an AM radio news
station. If you ever listen to an AM radio news station, you will hear variety of hair re-growth advertisements by different companies
one time or the other. I decided to give it a try. After shelling
out about $250, I received a bottle of Rogaine, some so called DHT
blocking shampoo and some vitamin pills. Well, as it turned out,
not very effective, my hair just kept falling out.
- After that I tried another similar program, it
consisted of special shampoo and conditioner as well as vitamin
pills. I don't remember which company makes the product, just
vaguely remember it is located in a city north of the Golden Gate
Bridge. I actually persisted with this program several months
spending over $100 a month, and in the end, I was disappointed
just like the previous treatments I tried.
- I saw another ad in a Chinese newspaper selling
a hair re-growth tonic promising a quick and inexpensive solution.
For about $50 a bottle, I got a nice hair brush too, but as you
guess it: just another complete waste of money.
- After that, I found a traditional Chinese recipe
for hair loss treatment. I went to Chinatown in San Francisco and
bought the required ingredients in a Chinese herbs store and
bought a big bottle of Brandy wine at CostCo. Following the
instruction, I poured some Brandy into a glass jar and mix it with
the herbs. Let it sat for a week or two and starting
rubbing my head with the tonic twice a day. I did this for more
than a year. The result? more hair loss. But it at least made my
hair looked stronger instead of limpsy.
Learning for the previous experience, I know that
most of the advertisements out there are useless. I decided to take
a look at what Bosley Medical and Hair Club have to offer for hair
loss since I remembered I saw their infomercials many times on TV. I
didn't look to them because I thought they were very expensive. But
I was desperate, so I made an appointment with both
companies.
However, they both turned out not very suitable to
me. The advisor at Bolsey Medical was very nice. He explained
how hair transplantation works and how much it cost to have the
procedures done. I knew it right there that this option is out of my
reach even if I want to do it. The treatment works by taking strands
of your hair in the back of your head (which usually is not affected
by hair loss) and transplant them to the bald area. They will sew up
the scalp where strands of hair were taken for transplantation so
that it is not visible. The consultation is free as well as the gift
shampoo kit which consisted of a bottle of Rogaine, shampoo,
conditioner and a nice comb. I believe their treatment works for
somebody, but not in my case, at least not now.
Next I had an appointment with Hair Club. When I
arrived at their office, they made me wait outside the lobby. I
found a big, thick binder filled with testimonials of people who are
satisfied with Hair Club's solution to their hair loss problems.
After flipping through several pages, I got very excited about what
they can do for me. After about 15 minutes wait, a consultant came
out and led me to another room to watch a short video about Hair
Club. At least 20 minutes later after I finished watching the video,
the consultant return and took me to her office. There she took a
picture of my head and told me about their treatment program. I
don't remember the exact cost, but it was close to $2,000 to have
the procedure done and about $75 once a month maintenance fee.
Basically they will make a special wig which matches the color of my hair.
They claim their technique will make the hair
piece looked very alike of your own hair. I was debating whether I
should go ahead with their treatment since I believe this is the
only way to go and it's cheaper than hair transplantation. I asked
if they can let me see a real client and they agreed. So I return
the next day and met with a guy they said just had the first
maintenance done after the first treatment. I was surprise the guy
was pretty young, I think he should be in his early 20s. He showed
me his head and I really couldn't tell that he was bald and the hair
looked very natural. I was convinced I should use their treatment
but I was still not comfortable with the cost. So, I told the
consultant that I need some time to think over it. When I got home I
sent her an email asking if they could reduce the periodic maintenance
cost, but I never gotten an answer back from her. Now when I think
of it, I feel very fortunate that she did not budge on my demand.
While I was still debating whether or not I should
go with the Hair Club solution, I saw a hair re-growth ad on a
Chinese newspaper. I had seen the ad many times among other hair
loss treatment ads before, but I thought it was just another bogus
claim to take people's money. However, this time, I was too
desperate and the ad claimed to refund the money if there was no
result after three months into the treatment and the consultation is
free. So, I decided to find out what this program was all about.
That was in late August 2003.
The company was located in San Francisco and I had
moved to Elk Grove, CA which is about 1 and half hour drive. I
decided to give them a call to get more information. A lady (Linda)
picked up the phone and I told her my situation. I have to say she
is very knowledgeable on the hair loss subject. Following her
suggestion I took a few pictures of my head using my digital camera
and emailed them to her. She told me I should definitely give her
treatment a try. For the amount of money I was willing to spend I
could get back some real hair instead of a wig and besides there is
a money back guarantee in writing if there is no result after three
months, so I decided to give it a try.
I drove to San Francisco and visited Linda for the
free consultation. To make a long story short, after starting the
treatment in Late August 2003, what happened in the following
several months is nothing short of amazing. I started to notice more
hair on my head the 2nd month into the treatment. On the new year's
day January 1st, 2004, a couple, whom are our very closed friends
came to visit us. They live in San Francisco and want to see our new
home which my wife and I bought in July 2003. After some
chic-chatting and shopping at the Arden Fair mall, the wife of the
couple said to me that there was something different about me but
didn't quite know what it was. I gave her a hint: "Look at my
head...". She and her husband were amazed. They finally remembered I
was pretty bald not that long ago.
After see the exciting result of the treatment I
decide to share this with sohosos.com visitors who might also suffer
hair loss problems. And Linda is very receptive to my suggestion. I
like to share my experience because I am sick and tired of the bogus
claims out there which take your hard earned money without producing
any significant results. Of course, results can be different on
different people since everybody's hair loss case can be different.
Even for me, the top of the head is the hardest to grow back, but
there is significant improvement for me.
OK, I know you are anxious to know which company I
am referring to. The name is
Bioscor
International (USA). Linda Liu works in the San Francisco
branch
in California, United States. She just had her branch's website
completed. Go to her
website now to find out what her company is all
about and what she and Bioscor International can do for you. They
also have treatment for skin problems. Bioscor has been in the
business for more than 10 years. Bioscor International has
offices across the world. Linda said many famous movie stars and
singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan have benefited from her treatment.
Some of you might have already known
about Bioscor and may be a client yourself as well. I did some
research on the Internet about Bioscor. There are some pretty
subjective opinions out there regarding Bioscor, but as in my case,
it really works! At least for now. Not sure if I will keep the hair
from falling again though. Linda said the key is maintenance. If you
decide to visit her office for a free consultation, I encourage you
to make a
request to see my (Kenny Lee) pictures taken before and after the
treatment. You are also welcome to contact
me to discuss about my hair re-growth treatment and how you can
benefit too.
"But what about the cost?" You might ask. If you think the treatment is expensive, considering the money you might have thrown away with
other useless treatments, and with Linda's three-month money back
guarantee, it is
definitely worth a try. And fortunately, Linda said in order for
more people to have a chance to give the hair re-growth treatment a
try, she will give an additional 5% off just by
mentioning you are referred by me (Kenny Lee) and use the 5% off
coupon.
To obtain the coupon, please enter your name and your email
address below. You will have instant access to the coupon page. It's
good for the entire month supply purchase only, not valid for
individual product purchase. Also, the coupon is only good for your initial purchase in her
office or online via her
website.
For online purchase, forward the coupon page to her and she will
make the necessary discount in addition to whatever discount is
available. You will also have access to my
pictures Linda took in late August 2003 before taking the treatment and the
pictures she took in early January 2004 after 4 month's treatment.
(Actually I am quite embarrassed on how I looked before, that's why
I ask for your email so only someone who is serious about learning
more about hair re-growth can see the
pictures). |
