That's it! I have joined Coldwell Banker All State Homes Elite in Sacramento, CA. Now I am a real estate agent. I know from the beginning this is a huge challenge for me. I have been known as the "quite one". I don't socialize much and don't know that many friends. And I have been told many times I don't have the right personality to be a agent. According to some people, I have to be a sleek, fast talker, just like the stereotyped used car salesman to be successful. To be honest, I have doubt on my ability as a real estate sales agent too. But I am hoping that my genuine desire to help others to fulfill their dreams of homeownership would compensate my lack of social contacts and the "used car salesmanship".
Anyway, I feel very fortunate to be part of the Coldwell Banker Elite. The owner of the local brokerage is very successful. He owned four other Coldwell Banker branches in the area. There is no garbage fees to become an agent under him. I can use most of the resources in the office for free. With another company I have to pay a $60 so call technology fee and other fees amounted to over $1000 a year (realtor association fee not included!). As you know, all real estate agents work for fees only, and with my current financial situation, to become a real estate agent is a difficult decision. So, I feel very fortunate to be working under a very successful broker-owner. Not only that, he will personally train new agents too. I am looking forward to learn from him and I already feel that I am having a great start.
So, if you know anyone in the Sacramento, California who needs to buy a home, please let me know, I am ready to help. With the resources of a solid company and a very experienced, successful broker backing me up, you can count on me to provide you with top notch services. Even though my main focus is on real estate now, I will continue to update & provide hot PC deals and other useful resources on the website, because computers continue to be my favorite hobby. Besides, the website is self-serving to my needs too. I sure like to save a buck or two myself when I am looking for bargains online. :-)
