I almost sold a house over the weekend. The potential client is from the Bay Area. He was referred to me by my friend. After visiting a house in Elk Grove by himself (I wasn't available at the time), he decided to make an offer. I was very excited and ready to draft the offer. However, I remembered he mentioned he didn't like HOA, and the house has a HOA fee which the owner has to pay quarterly. So, I told him about this and he immediately decided not to make an offer. Yes, I was a little disappointed, but as a Realtor, it's my responsibility to disclose any information I know about the property. And as a Coldwell Banker Sales Associate, we always put customer's interest above all.
