I went to San Francisco to visit my mother yesterday. When I left my home at Elk Grove, there was a little sprinkle of rain, but it got really heavy right before crossing the Bay Bridge, I could hardly see the car in front of me. My wife and I were debating if we made the right decision to travel under that kind of weather. It's very funny that right after crossing the bridge, the rain stopped and the sun came out too.
Before going to my mom's house, I needed to go to Bioscor International's office to pick up my hair-regrowth treatment products. While stopping at the traffic light at 9th street (which is pretty close to the City Hall of SF), I saw a guy ran to the middle of the street and took a picture. I turned my head to where his camera was pointing and I was shocked. I saw a small crow of people demonstrating on the corner of the street. They were half-naked, both men and women. They are pretty young too, may be in their early twenties. I have heard about this kind of demonstration on the news but never saw it live like this. I was so surprise that I didn't even pay attention what their sign said. My wife told me one of the sigh said: "Our bodies are not obscene." I wish I had a camera with me so I can share the experience with you. Anyway, before long, the traffic light turned green and we had to leave. I said to my wife that we picked the right time to go to San Francisco and she agreed. San Francisco is just full of surprise.
