I held an open house today from 12pm - 4pm in Elk Grove. It's a high end home with over 4000 sqft, selling for $729,000. I expected a low turn out but to my surprise, I had about 20 visits, not bad for a hot day. I enjoy holding open houses except one thing: needing to use the bathroom. I worry someone might walk-in and thought there is nobody home and I was lucky today, a visitor arrived right after I finished using the bathroom!
Conducting an open house is a great way to get more potential buyers to check out the home without making an appointment and it's a good way for realtors to find out what buyers are looking for in the housing market. I am looking forward to the next open house and you are invited!
