Yesterday, I went to San Francisco for a visit with friends. As part of the usual routine, we dropped by Davis for A great Japenese buffet at Fuji Japanese restaurant. There was a long line at the door waiting for the restaurant to be open at 11:30am. After the doors opened, we ended up have to put my name on the waiting list since there were many people ahead of us. Anyway, the wait was worth it.
It was foggy in part of San Francisco, but the real estate market is red hot. The house across my brother's house was sold in a very short time. I was told the asking price was $699,990. The house is in a ok neighborhood, however, the backyard is right next to the 280 freeway, it's a bit noisy. Through my friend's introduction, I managed to passed out a few business cards and preached how affordable Sacramento is as compared to San Francisco. The clinic where I have my hair-regrowth treatment agreed to display my business cards at the office. Hopefully I can pick up a few clients there. In all, the trip to San Francisco is great, but as I always say, San Francisco is great for a visit, but my home in Elk Grove is where I am happy to return to.

Recently I found another great Chinese restaurant, but this time, it is located in Elk Grove which is pretty close to where I live. I brought some clients to the restaurant and they all say the food is great. The name of the restaurant is Nathan's Chinese Cuisine.
To prove you why this Chinese restaurant is great, you can just look at its location. It is located at 9105 Bruceville Road, Suite 2A, right next to the post office in a little islanded shopping center next to Target. That location has been difficult for other businesses such a sandwitch shop and a cafe next to Nathan's Chinese Cuisine. Because there is only one way in and out of the little shopping strip, despite being located next to a big shopping center. People have to get out of the big shopping center and enter the little shopping strip from Bruceville Road. While other food service related businesses either closed or near closing, Nathan's Chinese Cuisine is prosperous. I had a chance to talk with the owner of the restaurant. Contrarily to the complains of other businesses, he loves the location. He does not have to worry about parking spaces.
Nathan's Chinese Cuisine proves that if you have great food and great service, people will come to you, even if you are located at not so easy to find area. So if you want great Chinese food in Elk Grove, give Nathan's Chinese Cuisine a try. Go north on Bruceville, past Laguna Blvd., enter at the 2nd entrance before the bus stop.

It's been a while since my last post. I have been pretty busy showing prospective clients homes around town. Most of them are from the Bay Area. Some of them are looking to invest, others are considering moving to the Sacramento area. I have also transferred to another branch office located on 6454 Stockton Blvd.. You will probably see me appearing on both offices.
Anyway, besides being able to view your neighborhood from the sky, now you can request a high quality, 700 x 700 pixel courtesy satellite photos for the property you are interested in. Simply click on the "realbird" icon on the homepage and several pages in the real estate section. Enjoy!
