Now you can view property listings I selected from the Metrolist MLS (the agent version) on my website again. However, according to the rules and regulations of Metrolist MLS, I can only show listings to prospective clients. So, in order to view the listings, you need to register to be a prospective client. The registration is free and no obligations. You can Check It Out now.  Look for the magnifying glass on the Featured Listing page and the Buy A Home page. I hope this feature will save you time in searching your dream home.
You can also view  commercial property and business opportunity listings on the page too which you can not find on the public version of the Metrolist MLS. I will try to update the listings once a week as time allowed. The availability of this feature depends on the rules and regulations of Metrolist MLS as they might change without notice.

Several agents including experienced and rookies asked me how they can set up their own real estate websites. Basically, there are two options they can try:
The first is to design their own websites and find a hosting company to host the websites. You can save money by using this method, especially for the new agents who's under tight marketing budget. Personally I set up my website this way. But don't get me wrong, I am not an expert website designer. Here is how I set up my website: first, I purchase a website template and modified it to suit the contents of my website. I use MS-FrontPage to do all the design and publishing. If you need ideas on web design and where to get templates, please visit this page: http://www.sohosos.com/pc_resource_links.htm . You will also need to choose a web hosting company. I recommend iPowerWeb, which I am using to host my website. Even though you don't need to be a web design expert to create your own website, you are expected to understand the basics of html and invest quite a large portion of your time in designing and maintaining your own website.

The second method is to hire professionals to design and host your website. The cost are varied. Recently I found one such service which might worth to take a look at. The cost is reasonable, the complete Website (including hosting) is just $24.95 per month plus a one-time initial setup fee of $24.95. Click Here for Your Free Trial Real Estate Website!
whichever method you choose to set up your own real estate website is up to you and depending on your situation. Having a website is a great way to market and enhance your credibility. So, don't delay, do it now.
