Unbelievable But True -

Have you ever wondered where do those debris (such as a shoe, a piece of clothing...etc) on the streets, roads or freeway come from? Well, today I found out one of the reasons. When I stopped at the red traffic light on Stockton Blvd. this afternoon, I saw a man in his forties, walk to the middle of the road, took off his sweater and threw it on ground then put on his shirt again and walk back to the sidewalk like nothing happened. When the traffic light turned green, a car swirled around the sweater, but the other car just ran straight over it. It's is just so weir to me. The man looked normal to me, well, may be not inside his brain.

Good Turn Out For The Open House Today-

Well, not for yesterday though. The attendance for the open house yesterday is Zero! I believe the main reason is the weather. The rain was heavy during the open house hours and last the whole afternoon. Today is Sunday, the sun is out shining and the sky is blue. I learned a few things from the open house today. One of the visitor is very knowledgeable about checking out the condition of the house and I learned a few tricks from her. Another thing I learned is the Open House sign is still very effective. All visitors said they saw the sign and decided to drop in for a look. I posted the open house information on craigslist, mailed some postcards to the neighbors, but they don't seem to generate any visitors this time. Another thing I learned is that, as a buyer, you should definitely come out and look at houses after a bad weather like yesterday. You have a better chance to find out if the roof is leaking, the windows are sealed properly. In the open house, I noticed one of the window has leakage, fortunately the seller agrees to fix the problem.
Anyway, I like to thank all the visitors whom showed up at my open house today. I am looking forward to do another one and hopefully, next time will be one of my listings :-)

Martian weather

When I woke up this morning (well, actually it's yesterday morning since now it's passed midnight), I noticed the there was something different about the outside surrounding than normal. The sky was orange reddish like. For a moment I thought I was living in Mars. As I learned from the news, this Martian-like weather was caused by three huge wild fire in the outskirts of the greater Sacramento area. Anyway, a picture is worth thousand words, I like to share two pictures I took in the afternoon so you can experience that eerie feeling. But under normal weather condition, Sacramento is a beautiful place to visit. You can take a picture tour of Sacramento / Elk Grove here: http://www.sohosos.com/picture_tours_of_sacramento.htm

Great news, now you can perform instant home search on my website. You can try it out here:

Perform Instant Dream Home Search Now.

I hope you will find this feature convenient in searching your dream home. After you find a home you like, please feel free to contact me to find out more detail or schedule a visit.
I know this feature is not as good looking and fancy like some other agents' websites due to my limited budget and time allowed for me to make it looked better and add more functionality. But eventually, I hope I can make this feature better looking and more useful. Hey, I can only afford a Honda Civic now and it suits me fine.
